Dhanush Kumar aka DK is one of the most innovative film composers and sound designers who meticulously sculpts the emotional music journey.

DK is a music composer / Director of great merit. Since obtaining a diploma in sound design from KM Music Conservatory run by Oscar awarded Shri. A.R.Rahman. His career has blossomed as a composer, Director of music for films, short films, Ad films, Telemovies, Album recording and more.

DK started his musical journey at a very young age of 2 years. His unrelented interest in music was not gone unnoticed by his mentor, Guru and Father Shri. Nagabushanam, which led him to learn carnatic vocals and further into learning keyboard as an additional advantage.

He started his career working as a DJ in musical events and numerous live stage perfomances to achieve more experience in order to shape himself to what he is today.

DK is also fast becoming a sought-after collaborator, having worked with various legends of the film industry. This includes song recording for movies in regional languages [ Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya and Bengali ] BGM Scoring for movies, Dubbing for movies like “Adiye”, “Kaduvetti”, BGM for “Kalam Adum Kazhugu”, Dubbing for upcoming movies like “Kuruvikaran”, “Vembu” to name a few.
